An Argumentative Essay~!!

Today I want to write an argumentative Essay.

This is not as easy as it seems. An argumentative essay requires more time and research than a response essay. The writer must support the arguments with facts and evidence, not just opinions and feelings. 

I wrote and argumentative essay about our first female president, Park Geun Hye.

     On December 19th 2012, we had a new president in South Korea. When we look at the presidents, they are all male presidents. However, this time it was a female president. Her name was Park Geun Hye. Some people say that she should not be president because she is a woman and she didn't get married. However, I disagree. Park Geun Hye would be a good president for South Korea because of several reasons. 

     One reason why Park Geun Hye is a good president is because she has a lot of experience of politics. She is the Saenuri Party Unity Committee chairman. Also she was a member of many groups that are big in South Korea. She was the lawmaker of South Korea. Besides this, since she was young, she started to practice being a good politic because Park Geun Hye really wanted to become president.

     Another reason why Park Geun Hye is a good president is because her father and family was a president is because her father and her family members was a president or a politician. father was also the South Korea's president for 2 times in 1972 until 1979. Park Geun Hye's father changed South Korea a lot so our country developed until here. Even though her father did things that the citizen didn't like, because of this, we could be in the most developed country in the world. In addition, Park Geun Hye's younger brother is in the Korean Football Association.   

     Some people say that Park Geun Hye is bad because of her father as I said before, but it is not true. Even though her father did things that is not correct, there is nothing that says that also Park Geun Hye would do a bad job being a president. She might have learn those things from her father because they are one family. However, she would know that people would not like her. Therefore she would try to fix it and become a better president so she can make a better country.

     Finally, Park Geun Hye is not only a bad person because when she don't have a family, she can concentrate on her work more easily. The reason why she didn't got married is because that she only wanted to focus on being a president for South Korea. Also the reason why I say she could focus on her work better is because she has nothing else to focus on than her work. Park Geun Hye don't have to worry about her husband and her children and there education. Therefore, she could become a good president in South Korea.

     In conclusion, Park Geun Hye is a good person because she has more experience with politics than other people, her father was also a politician in South Korea, she might not do bad things like what her father did, and she can concentrate on her work more better. For these reasons, we should not say that Park Geun Hye is only a bad person, but a good person. We should get rid of the thoughts that is wrong! We should not only criticize Park Geun Hye!!

This is an argumentative essay I wrote. This is about 500 words. It doesn't have to be too long. If you have time, I hope you could write your own essay!

A Response Essay to "Braver"

Hi~!!
Today I want to talk about a movie I watched last week.
Last week, we watched a movie called "Brave"
This time, I want to write a response essay about this movie.

Movie: Brave

A little pretty, cute girl Merida, changing her mother's future!
This is mostly the main part of a movie "Brave". After I saw this movie, I think that this movie is a little exciting and made me feel sympathy. There are some reasons why it was  exciting and that I felt sympathy after I watched the movie.


First, in case you didn't watch the movie, I will introduce you about the movie is mostly about. If you want to watch a trail, you can press to play the video. In the movie brave, there is a pretty young princess named Merida. One day, she was walking in a forest after having a fighter with her mother which is a queen. In the forest, she found some wisps so she followed them. They lead Merida in to a little wooden house where a witch was living. The witch knew how to do magic. Therefore, Merida told the witch to turn her mother into a bear. The witch turned Merida's mother into a bear. After this happened, she felt that her mother is important so Merida had an adventure to turn her mother back into a person~!

Next, I want to tell you how I felt after I watched this movie, Brave. While watching this movie, it was a little exciting. The parts when I was excited was the part when Merida followed the wisps in the forest because I thought something big will happen. Also I was very curious what would happen next. In addition, I was excited at the part when Merida's mother turned into a bear. Merida's father does not like bears so I thought he will kill the bear. Therefore, I was really excited in this part of the movie. 

Finally, after, I watched this movie, I felt a little sympathy. At home, I had some similar situations like what Merida had. Not like a big fight with the parents, but just some small complications. Also like Merida, when my mom is next to me all the time, I don't care much about her. Also I don't think about what if she is not next to me. However, when she is gone or not nearby me, I can feel why I need her and why she is a very important person. Therefore, I sympathized with Merida.

In conclusion, I think that I liked this movie because of these reasons;exciting and sympathy. It was a little exciting and it also made me feel sympathy in the situations that Merida was in. After watching this movie, I thought that I should behave better to my family and to other people around me, like my friends and teachers. I really enjoyed watching this movie and later, if I have time, I want to watch this movie 1 more time~! It was a good movie to watch!

Diamante Poem

Today I want to talk to you about a diamante poem. 

First, I will introduce you about what a diamante poem is. A diamante poem is  is a style of poetry that is made up of seven lines. Also the words form a shape of a diamond.

Like we know, other poems are thousands of years old but this diamante poem is only about 40 years old!! This was created by an American poet, Iris McClellan Tiedt.

Today, we wrote a diamante poem in class.

This time, to pringles~!!

This time, I want to talk to you about something.

Today I want to talk to about an ode!
Many people might not know what an ode is so I want to first introduce you what an ode is.
 An ode is an a lyric poem, typically addressed to a particular subject. 

This week, I had to write my very own ode. I wrote it to pringles~!!!!!                                    



Dear tasty pringles,

Roses are red violets are blue and pringles are bright?!

A big brown moustache with a pretty little red ribbon. A silly looking man is looking at me all the time. His bright red ribbon is calling for me to buy them. His fascinating long moustache is calling me to just choose only one.


Red cans, green cans, black cans, brown cans, yellow cans!
So bright and so lovely that I can't look away. I decided to buy just one, only one!
When we choose, we don't know the time passing. We can only think of pringle, pringles and pringles~!!
                         
Walking home from the supermarket.
Having a peek of what I bought.
There we see bright and lovely pringles~!
Looking at me to try them, just only once.

While walking home, I decided to eat only one piece.
Again, I decided to eat only one piece. Again and again, I just ate 1 piece. By the time I arrived at my house, I was surprised. I was very very surprised. There was only 1piece left!! So I was thinking, thinking, and I was thinking again.

Finally, I made a decision. A very very big decision. I decided to go back to the supermarket. I decided to buy another can. This time, not just only one can of pringles, but THREE~!!!

My Goals~!!

Hello, everyone~!!
Nice to meet you again~!!

Today I want to talk about my 30 day goals!
Most of the people might have thought that 'I'm stuck in a rut'. This is not only for you but mostly everyone have might thought of this at least once. In order to have a good time for about 30 days, I think that is not bad to have simple goals.
I have some goals that I want to share with you!
I want to talk to you about the habits that I want to have. I want to have the habit of reading a lot of books, cleaning my desk often and also being a detailed person.

First, to read a lot of books I want to read more than 15 books for 30 days. In order to do this, I have to go to the library and pick the books that I want to read. Then I have to put them in order so I can read it everyday. Lastly, I have to finish one book and then read another book and repeat this.

Second, to always make my desk clean, I have to clean my desk everyday. First, I should not put things on my desk that bothers me when I am studying. Then, I have to think of the way how organize my desk so it always look clean. Therefore when my desk is dirty, I will clean it so it looks good!

Finally, I want to be a detailed person so I want to have the habit of doing things in a detailed way. To become a detailed person, it takes a lot of time and a lot of practice. Even though it is hard, I want to become a detailed person. To become a detailed person, first I have to think of what I have to do in a detailed way. Next, I have to think of how to do that in a detailed way. Finally, I should make a list and write down the things I have to do so I will not forget it and do it in the right time.

In conclusion, I think that on summer or winter vacation, many people have nothing to do! I want to recommend that if you have nothing to do, you should think of several goals so you can not waste your time and have fun all the time during your vacation~!!

My name is Suyeon Ryoo.
I live in South Korea in a small place named "Chuncheon".
Let me introduce myself a little more.
I like to buy pens and write with all different colors of pens.

I might not have more pens that you do but I like to buy them and use them when I am studying or also when I need to write things that is important and when I need to write.

                  

In addition, I like to listen to music. I like K-pop the most. I like to listen to Lee Seung-gi's songs. He sings very well and he is my favorite singer!
                     
Finally I like to travel around the world by airplanes. I didn't have a lot of time to travel around the world but later, I want to travel to many different countries. For instance, Spain, France, China, Japan and also other countries~!
